If settling has occurred, pavers can be lifted, the ground releveled and the pavers reset, erasing the damage and restoring the beauty. Concrete must be cut and patched, and the repaired area is always visible.

Timelines, permitting, durability and maintenance for paver driveways in Southwest Florida.
Most residential driveways are finished in 3 to 5 working days: demolition and haul-off, base excavation and compaction, screed and install, then cutting, edge restraint and joint sand.
It is NOT recommended. Overlays raise the grade at the garage door and don't allow the pavers to be flush with the road. We remove the slab and build a proper compacted base. The pavers are installed per code for that area.
